The Sequencer Tour is one of the flagship projects of the Year of German-American Friendship. From October 2018 until October 2019 the event partners re:publica, Reeperbahn Festival and next media accelerator – Germany’s leading digital, music and media platforms – took a road trip through the United States and realized innovative event formats on topics related to the digital society. On the Sequencer Tour they visited Los Angeles, Austin, New York, Detroit and Portland. The program of the five tour stops reflected the character of each city and explored topics that concerned both the local and German communities, thus creating space for a creative transatlantic discourse.

Sequencer Tour was funded by the Federal Foreign Office, realized by the Goethe-Institut and supported by the Federation of German Industries (BDI).
